Forget the cliché lose weight, eat healthier, and start a new habit New Year resolutions this year.  This year you’ve got a lot more to think about.  After all, you’re a multi-tasking, sorority, super woman now!

Take this time to reflect on your past semester.  Whether it was your first semester of college, or your fifth, you had some pretty big changes to adjust to.  We know how overwhelming it can be.

Take our word for it, when you’re walking across the stage at graduation you’ll be wondering where the past few years of your life went.  And you can’t ever get it back.  Make sure you do everything you can, so you can walk across that stage to get your diploma with no regrets.

Did you go to as many sisterhood events as you wanted?  Did you take all the leadership opportunities you wanted?  Did you spend enough random nights sitting around watching TV and catching up with your sisters?  Are there some women you still want to get to know?

We’d like to encourage you to take this New Years and come up with a sorority resolution.  Make your resolution attainable with a measurable goal. For example, if you feel like you’ve become a robot of studying, going to class, showing up to the meetings, and doing it all over again without making any real connections; take this opportunity to set a goal for yourself.  Your sorority resolution could be to casually hang out with a group of sisters once a week by watching TV, grabbing dinner, a girls night, study night, etc.

If you felt like you let the sorority down with your studies this semester, you may want to consider working on getting your grades up by studying two extra hours every week.

There is always room for improvement in each of us.  What will your sorority resolution be this year?

Cheers!
Casey, Kate, & Rachel
