4 Fall 2012 Trends to Wear for Sorority Recruitment

Can you believe it is already fall? That means it is time to put away your swimsuits, cover-ups, and sandals and get your fall wardrobe ready. Recruitment, on many campuses, is right around the corner. As you are picking out your outfits for each night, you may want to incorporate these 4 Fall 2012 Trends.

1. Collar Necklaces: Dress up your outfit by adding a necklace. This is an easy and cheap way to freshen up your look without having to overhaul your wardrobe.

2. Oxblood Color: One of the hot colors this season is Oxblood (burgundy). You could add just a splash of it with your purse or shoes, or make it a bold part of your outfit by wearing oxblood pants or a jacket.

3. Cozy Knits: Don’t be afraid to wear a sweater with a skirt or cute pants. This is a great way to stay warm, but still look fabulous.

4. Patterns: Mix and match patterns, but try to stay with a consistent color. Don’t just grab two random articles of clothing and pair together. This trend does require some extra thought to execute correctly.

Don’t forget to pick out your outfits in advance of recruitment and definitely check the weather, so you can dress accordingly. These 4 Fall Trends are simply some suggestions to get you thinking, so don’t feel like you have to master each one to get in your top sorority. But do pick outfits that you feel comfortable in and ones that won’t distract you by constantly having to pull your shirt down or your pants up.
